Is not a problem of the game, that's for sure. You can try with another controller, as Scarecrow says, and/or installing the game again. Try playing offline, too.

I'm having no problems at all, either. Only sometimes when I press the "Start" button, first times it may take up to 1 second or a little more to show the options, but everything else no prob....
