Positioning shield while attacking

I found this interesting point of view about using shield while attacking. I think it could be usefull to have shield on the front while swinging weapon left to right below for example. While posting the game build is 0.5.2 and shield has perfect position in overhead attacks but after right to left swings is a bit behind character. What you think?

I also think that the shield should be positioned better while attacking, and should be able to block while attacking, after all, you're able to use both arms at once...

I don't think you should be able to. It will make it too easy to hide behind the shield, because other weapons cannot hook the shield or anything.

You don't get the point. You cannot use a weapon like you can in real life, simply because you cannot move like you can in real life. And the controls are just not up to the motions you need to get around a shield.
It's barely good enough for sword against sword.
