I've recently started my first playthrough after the 0.6.5.4f upgrade and one of the things I noticed is how the NPCs became very found of making ambushes,(yes real f*** ambushes, several times) waiting just outside the room you're in and then ganging up on you. The problem is that until you enter the room they're in, they dont respond to anything. You can just take a long weapon, and kill them from the other side of the doorframe.
