Forum confusion

Okay hi, I'm not super new, but I have mostly been lurking here rather than posting.
Recently I have noticed a lot of threads in "General" such as Mens-health and optimal-nuitrition... Basically Ad like spam. And I was wondering are they spam or the forums way of having ads that Ad blocker cant get?
Maybe some weird internal joke?

Its probably chinese, as they register from new virtual machines manually each time no spam filter can block them. Tony and Murf are manually deleting them as fas as they can. There are like a ton of those new users with spamposts each day.

Just report them.
