Yeah okay I get that being a student myself. Maybe you and a friend could split it, so he/she gets a copy while you get the alpha/beta?

Or, you could just look past the extra copy, and imagine the tier was for alpha access. To me, £40 for alpha access isn't a bad deal... plus there's the whole "supporting Sui Generis by giving a bit more" thing.
In various other games, beta access would be offered around the £40 mark, whilst alpha access is considered more exclusive so is offered at a much higher tier. You're not getting a bad deal!!!
Most backers are at the £10 tier - most people aren't interested in beta access, they just want to play the game when it's ready. Many other Kickstarter projects wouldn't have offered a copy of the finished game for £10. Clearly Bare Mettle wanted to drive the cost to individuals down (which is nice of them), under the assumption that many more people would have wanted to pledge at lower costs... it's sad that this seemingly-reasonable strategy did not pay off.

Sure - sorry if it sounded like I was trivialising money - that wasn't intended. It wasn't long ago that I was a poor student, and I'm certainly not well-off now. I was trying to say that, for a project campaign like this to succeed, it can only be cheap for everyone if there are enough people contributing. Otherwise, if there aren't so many people, then the only way the project can succeed is if it's a bit more expensive, especially for the lowest tier with a decent reward (in this case £10). I was just saying that Sui Generis hasn't been as aggressive with pricing as some of the other Kickstarter campaigns (consider Star Citizen, which had both aggressive pricing *and* many contributors), which could be one reason why the target hasn't already been reached. It's all about campaign strategy. I'm not saying that Bare Mettle *should* have made everything more expensive... just that it appears to not have worked out for them this time. And I'm certainly not suggesting you are being stingy if you haven't pledged more!!!Rob, problem still lies with being a poor student

Dammit Rob, you somehow tricked me into considering pledging the £60 and pay 2/3. I guess I'll live on bread and water this month xD Just a quick question, it says the £60 reward includes everything from the previous rewards. That includes the extra copy too, right? Just to get this a 110% confirmed. I'd love to have those videos too. So basically, the £40 reward is exactly the same as the £60 reward, only having the exclusive videos for an extra £20?

You get all tiers apart from the £30 tier. Basically:
- Digital game;
- Digital soundtrack;
- Beta access + access to insider forum;
- Alpha access;
- Extra digital game (making it two in total);
- Downloadable videos.

Yea, I don't even really want a physical copy of the game. I'll misplace it. I'm tempted to keep one of the digital versions as a backup, the other going to my friend in Australia since games aren't cheap there.

I don't want a physical copy either, I just picked the option to have access to the alpha version of the game.
