Thanks Bare Mettle. 
My lobotomized laptop could barely run this game a couple years ago, and yet with each update, it somehow works more and more. I'm going to put this machine to sleep for good soon, or I had better before it does so on its own. I'm not sure when I'll get another machine, but it better have Linux and a Windows 7 emulator, or I'm a fool.
