Hey Exanimates,

Here are the notes on today's dev meeting:

-Madoc has implemented some new mechanics for visibility and perception of characters by NPCs. These mechanics are currently serving another purpose, but can also support effects of lighting conditions on NPC sight.

-Even more mind powers are functional now, there is just one more we think should be completed for a beta test release.

-With more powers complete, and with better insight into how future powers will work - Madoc has made a new common framework for tracking, processing and storing state for all active thaumaturgic effects.

-Talked about making a new creature that would leverage some new effects.

@Adan Verde Both thaumaturgy and the new level is nearing completion, so it shouldn't be too long now. It's an entirely new gameplay mechanic, and IMO roughly on par with physically based combat in terms of complexity (especially with it's interaction with NPC AI), so it needs all the time it can get in the oven.

@Coolz pretty much, from what I gather the update hinges on completing thaumaturgy, as well as developing the next level, both of which are close to being ready.
