Next in video games ?

Rolling a big snowball into a band of foes, creating an avalanche maybe ?

It's interesting because there will be all kinds of breakthroughs in physics engines and the like and as soon as someone figures out how to hard-wire information directly into the brain, all those gfx engines will be obsolete.

I'm sure this snow engine knows better how snow reacts than my brain, so it could be the information hard wired to the brain^^
Could'nt it be the same for most gfx ?

I don't think obsolescence is a good reason to not advance in something, unless it's exactly known when it'll happen and it's very close by.

The video is pretty great. I'm wondering just how much computing will advance not by means of hardware, but by solving problems we didn't even know existed yet.
