I'm aware that this has been discussed before but I can't see a dedicated thread for it.
Problem
You can drop the torch on the floor to give yourself light in a fight without enough light. However it's a game of clicking on the paperdoll and drag the torch onto the floor while not being hit by the enemy, it's awkward and not in the spirit of the game
Some proposed solution(s)
- Give us a way of dropping the item or items held in the hand, an elegant solution without introducing another key would be to hold down the secondary weapon set key.
- Create a whole new animation or sequence for placing something on the floor if the delay with the paperdoll click and drag is intentional.
- Put out the torch if you put it on the floor, if that's not intended behaviour then take away the feature.
- Probably more controversial but give us a way of holding two items and still being able to see such as a belt lamp or some kind of medieval head torch (only half serious).
