    Thoughts and Ideas General

I like the idea of improving your character through practice (the more you use a long sword, the better you get with it), but that there are (and should be) LIMITS to this method of improvement. To further improve, you would have to be TAUGHT something, via a scroll, book, individual, etc. So...

This game could use a community manager

Btw, I just found out that BM do have a community manager. Is that you Tony? Also, I understand that, being a small team, small resources, etc., hard to have a dedicated employee who creates a lot of content.

This game could use a community manager

I personally think this game needs more media content online, and more frequent information to generate (and maintain) interest in fans (specifically acquiring new fans). I think it would be great if this game had a community manager that did the following: 1) Obviously active on the forums...

    Exanima 0.6.5.4

Is there an updated eta for when this is released to the public? I’m getting antsy lol

    What's taking so long?

    Any new updates for 2018?

    Exanima 0.6.5.2

Update looks great. I want to preface some questions by saying that my interest in this game has always been rooted in the perceived desire of the devs to create "unnecessary detail", as I call it. I think the biggest problem with AAA developers nowadays is ignoring the small, and, to many...

Wounds, limps, and complete limb disablement

I don't think dismemberment is inherently a gimmick. I think realistic implementation is key. Limbs should only dismember if the correct weapon and proper force is applied at the correct angle, which may or may not take successive strikes. This would be very rare. Wearing almost any kind of...

Wounds, limps, and complete limb disablement

I get where you're coming from, but keep in mind that these weapons only can deliver such devastating attacks on people who are unarmored. Most of this game will be played, presumably, when you're armored and your opponents are armored. It is near impossible, if not 100% impossible, to cause...

Environment Interaction - sitting on chairs/benches, lying on beds, destructible objects

I appreciate the tongue-in-cheek replies :) It's easy to twist anything to sound silly or unnecessary. But I think the point is being missed. It's not about implementing detail that necessarily serves a "real" purpose (although some of it does, like resting and/or sleeping); it's about...

Environment Interaction - sitting on chairs/benches, lying on beds, destructible objects

LOL. I'm not sure what I'm looking at hahaha

Environment Interaction - sitting on chairs/benches, lying on beds, destructible objects

I know some of these points have been made in the past, and by past I mean 3-4 years ago. Was curious if any advances have been made in any of these areas. I personally would like the ability to sit on a chair/bench. It serves no "purpose", except world immersion. Which, IMO, is very...

    Small Object Destruction

Wanted to bring this thread back to life as I'm curious if any progress has been made here (@Madoc ) Tables, chairs, crates, boxes, barrels, plates, jugs, cups, etc. Would be nice to see these crumble to pieces, depending on the necessary force, or, for some, dropping from a necessary height.

Wounds, limps, and complete limb disablement

One example of a benefit to bleeding; I severely wounded a guy, and he ran away. It'd be nice to see a blood trail. And if you followed it, you'd eventually come to a guy in the corner of the room face down in a puddle of blood, or almost there and you can finish him off.

Wounds, limps, and complete limb disablement

I'd be beyond satisfied with bleeding and hobbling. A crippled limb may be too difficult to implement, but I bet a visible limp, based entirely on damage down to knees, calves, feet, etc., is doable.
