Heres the thing ladyes and gentlemen, I know all of us here are rpg fans, hence we love role playing games, the developers them selves stated that they are fans of ultima and dungeons and dragons, and it is my great hope they may join in what im trying to do here

Ok lets get to the point, if any of you are familiar with DND style role playing games, or table top you know that forums also have a kind of version wich is a king of take over story beeing writen and continued by the people participateing in it. So thats is what im trying to start here the idea is this is a role play each person will create a character of any race that you know from games or imagination, make a profile of said hero and continue the main story line, adding your actions to the mix and how you think others will be affected.
There are only a few rules, first you need to read everything dont just add things that could never have happened. Second you cant kill a players hero unleas its in a stand of and you decide amongs your selves how it ends, third try to not go god mode your hero isnt a god hes/she is a player in a living world ruled by gods, and ofc finally but not least have concideration .
And if we can get some interesting ideas that the devs can use in the game so much the better

I will start with the setting its a massive world with several continents, oceans, cityes and factions. The 3 main factions are waring city states they all hate each other because of religios upheavals, teritorial disputes, racial violance etc.
The factions are simply called the Chaotic Vanguard, the Warriors of light, and the Legion of shadow.
When they started the Chaotic Vanguard was neutral and wanted the Warriors and Legion to stop argueing and in the political battle got stuck in the war.
There are many gods evil, good and neutral ones, the 3 prime gods are Hadrian the blind (Neutral), Ilandra the spitefull (Evil), Selena the Just (good). The story with them is that Hadrian was blinded by his love of bough of the godeses, wishing to please all of them he could never chose one over the other regardles of there flaws, in turn the godeses fought each other for his attention in there own way, Ilandra with he vile schems and hatefull tricks, Selena with her kind charms and benevolant actions.
The main continent on wich the action happens is called simply The Melting pot! No one knows why the continent is named that, the people know they have been using the name for all of time.

Is this similar to improv, as in, are we implementing the "yes and" rule, or can we discuss things? The "yes and" rule in improv is that anytime anyone comes up with something, you go along with it then add something of your own, so it's always a continuing circle of "I'm a cowboy on a horse!" Then the next person goes, "Yes, and I'm Tonto his sidekick!" Then the third person pipes up "Yes, and I'm the dastardly villain, baron von mustache!" Etc, etc, you get the idea.

Also, are we to be roleplaying within the Sui Generis universe, or are we creating one entirely our own? It sounds like we're making one, but does it have any relation to this game at all?

We can pretend that it does and as i said before if they developers get some good ideas from this they can use them. And you got most of the points right! Many forums got something of this sort.
Just make a character profile place him in a situation and others can change what he does based on what they think he will do or act, but its a little more complicated then that

Is there a particular format for these character profiles? Can you provide an example?

Yes ofc I will begin with my own character profile.
His name is Christian the Bold of the Lazarus family, he studied many years the art of chaos magic at the Vanguards school of mages, he was a human of normal stature and build who loved to study, he was generally a shy individual, when he was not learning magic he would spend his time sword fighting and training in the way of the warrior with his brother the knight Leonardo who he was very fond of. All of that changed one day when Christian learner from a Vanguard lieutenant that his company was ambushed in the desert by a mysterious group of raiders, and that his brother was among those missing or fallen.
Having more ties to his brother then to his school Christian left the Chaos city in search of his lost sibling.
Among his qualities he has not just his skill of magic, but also his kindness, great sense of wanderlust, he is calm calculated and wise beyond his years. However he is also very lazy, generally clumsy and awkward.

My name is Eiren, and at the age of 24 I was taken from my family by raiders and sold to the slave trade. I have been a slave for the last 13 years I have suffered and beaten by my slave masters, I finally broke free from being given a shard from a necklace a new slave called Leonardo gave me. He was very kind to me and told me many stories about his family and life back in Laymans Keep.

On the way back home I met a traveller in search of his brother Leonardo, I told him where his brother was and how to get there. I also gave him the shard from the necklace to give back to Leonardo. Hopefully, when I get home, my family will be safe.
