Thrusting Controls

Maybe I am just crazy or terrible here. I have not been able to do anything even approximating a thrust. I have not scratched my enemies with a sword in anything but a swing.

I have spent 10-20 minutes trying to get the mechanic working, but I just cannot seem to figure it out. When you hold down alt, you get a new cursor. When you press LMB, nothing happens. When you swing it, nothing happens. When you walk, sometimes you dont move, sometimes you do.

I am having trouble here getting this to work in any way.

I suspect this is a control oddity rather than a bug. Any advice on actually thrusting? Any descriptions on the timings of how it works and reacts to inputs that might help me?

Sounds like you may have rebinded something to alt previously. If I had to guess, alt is probably binded to combat interaction(you should not have a different cursor while thrusting). Check your keybinds in the settings menu.

Ah, thanks. This was exactly it.

I don't remember when or even if I rebound it. I never used combat interaction really.

That said, it was definitely the problem.

Killed yesterday my opponent with a thrust into breast. It was so spectacular.
