So I just completed a run of the game and decided to take a screenshot of all the stuff I had hoarded on the way (this was after the inventory bug which I just posted).
But after exiting the game and loading up my save in the exact same spot I was met by an error message. I think it read "Failed to read database object".
Here is a picture of the items that remained:
Too many objects loading in one place? I can but guess.
