Item quality, is that normal ?

Is that normal ? Fine vambracewith worse statistic that a worn one ?
If there s some aleatoriness it could be...but.

I think those vambraces on the left are just a better overall design, not sure. But it would be better if you compared vambraces with the same design.

I don t think the name are for nothing.
Take the leather jacket (or another name) distinction between worn, superior, etc are an indicative of quality even if design change.
It lloks more like an inversion in some table.

The one on the left is better version of them the leather vambraces, but the one on the right can come in the laminate or plate quality.

Those are different vambraces designs, if you were to compare two of the same kind, the fine quality would certainly be better

There are many similar items that are worse or better because of their design, the quality modifier is only relevant to the specific item, it's not a global indication of quality.
