Performance killer seems to be lighting, not physics.

No matter how much I try to stir up the physics...it barely has an impact now (good optimization on that end)...but whenever there are multiple (especially flickering) light sources in a room...the performance seems to take a dump.

Will this receive some proper additional optimizations or is what we see also what we get? My CPU is really not all that terrible (AMD 860K Quad @ 4.5 Ghz) but even though the lighting and shadows seem nice...I really don't feel like the performance hit is justified.

Light/Shadow can sometimes drop performance by as much as 30% while trying to stir up as many objects as possible (physics) barely does ANYTHING.

What I found is that with my ATI 7950, with graphical option all maxed out. The game run around 30 fps or less like here in the white light.

If I go into the other light source. It goes up to 50-60. But it's still not great.

So yes light has big impact on my ATI card when all is maxed out.

But if I go into option and put Super Sampling to Medium. All is smooth with 165 fps. Super Sampling on High = bad performance on an ATI card. On medium and all the rest maxed out. You have a really smoot game.
