Secret items

My character is standing near the portal right now (first time ) and before I leave I want to know if there is anything I missed.
I have found:

The helmet and the sword, if you can call the sword secret

Also, will the next update reset saves?

the plan is to backup my save then go through the portal right away when the patch hits

I assume they probably won't be compatible...

I do not think any saved games are going to be able to make it through with the next steam update, to many fundamental changes.
